Radon Testing | Radon Inspection | Atlanta | Roswell | Marietta | Sandy Springs | Dunwoody

Radon is the leading cause of lung cancer in non-smokers in the USA.

In the near future, all federally-backed mortgages will require a radon test to be performed. This includes all multi-family dwellings as well.

Elevated Radon levels in your home present a health risk to your family. Radon levels are considered to be elevated if above 4.0 pCi/L. The only way to know is to test and if elevated, have it properly mitigated.

You should not hire a radon inspector that will also perform the radon mitigation.

National and International health experts as well as the Surgeon General of the U.S. recommends have radon testing done in your home.

As part of mitigation, all junctions of concrete slabs and foundations walls as well as other penetrations are sealed to force the gases to be collected by the mitigation system. These joints can and will open up again over time and will allow soil gases to bypass the mitigation system. Soil configurations change over time as well which can cause radon levels to change. The Surgeon General is so concerned about Radon that he suggests radon testing every two years.

Several government agencies have added Radon testing to their "healthy Homes" program checklists. The only way to be sure your family is safe is to TEST! Always use a third party environmenatlist to determine if you have elevated levels and if a mitigation has been properly performed.

Our certified radon inspectors are also certified by ASHI, GAHI, ICC, ACAC and EDI. We are proud to service Atlanta, Roswell, Marietta, Sandy Springs and Dunwoody Georgia. If you own a home or live in a high-rise condominium, you should have radon testing done every two years.

Our team of certified Atlanta Radon Inspectors allows us to objectively assess whether the building is experiencing a Radon problem.

The test results are provided in a report and if elevated levels of Radon are detected, we will provide the names of certified contractors and information websites to assist you in correcting the problem. We recommend that follow-up Radon testing be performed to know that the mitigation has been successful.

We will have no affiliation with these companies but they have provided quality work for our clients in the past.We can perform any or all of the following services in one visit to assure you of the high quality, personal service that you want while keeping the costs down.
