We have inspected over 1,500 "stucco" homes in the greater Atlanta area, as well as throughout the Southeast, and have found numerous problems due to improper installation practices. Most problems are easily corrected but some, however, are severe and can be very costly to correct. The problems can result in moisture intrusion and termite infestation that contributes to rotted windows and doors and, in some cases, structural damage.Water intrusion can also result in mold growth in walls that may not be immediately obvious.
We have a Certified Third Party EIFS and Stucco Inspector and Moisture Analyst on staff and unlike other inspection companies, your inspector can perform all inspections providing an analysis of how one area of the home may be causing a problem in another area. If repairs are necessary, our report will contain a scope of work that includes stucco industry acceptable repair guidelines to ensure that repairs are done properly. We will also provide the names of contractors who can follow our instructions.
Call us before the repair contractor so that we can provide an objective evaluation and scope of work that the contractor can estimate to. This ensures you of an evaluation that protects your interests.
Maintenance Inspections!
Beware of worthless, expensive, misleading stucco warranties!
Instead of paying for over-priced, worthless stucco warranties, consider having us perform an annual maintenance inspection of the cladding system. Once the stucco has had proper corrections made, inspecting annually will allow you to have minor corrections made yearly thereby preventing major breakdowns which will lead to expensive repairs. Doing this will reduce the need for those worthless warranties.
This is similar to keeping the maintenance records for your car which maintains the value of the vehicle at time of sale.
Call Today! Choosing the wrong stucco inspector can be very costly.
What Will You Receive?
